Matthew Jones, age 36, of Gordonsville, passed away on May 8, 2025. Matthew Shawn Jones was born in Martinsburg WV to Carol Ann Corcoran and Eric Jones. He always had a smile and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back. Matthew enjoyed putting things together, tinkering, listening to music, and hanging out with his dogs, Emma Doo and Pennywise. He was very protective of his family.
Matthew is survived by his mother Carol Jones, identical twin Andrew and brother Scott Jones, uncle Jeremy (Mary) Corcoran and Ted (Jarisi) Corcoran, and nephews Matthew, Thaddus, and Theodore. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret Corcoran and special dog Bella.
