Mary K. Rolfes, 78, a resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee, was born on Friday, August 30th, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to her loving parents, Stephen and Sally Schneider, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, surrounded by her family.
The Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow the service in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16th from 05:00 p.m. – 08:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by former husband and father of her children, John T. Rolfes. She is survived by sons, John T. Rolfes, Christopher (Brittany) Rolfes, and Stephen (Laura) Rolfes; grandchildren, Johnny Rolfes, Thomas (Danielle) Parton, Kylie Rolfes, Stephen (Melissa) Rolfes, and Abigail Rolfes.
Mary’s favorite thing was being a grandmother to her grandbabies and supporting all they did, even their sporting events never missing a game. She was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and University of Tennessee Volunteers, and also enjoyed reading on her Kindle.
