Mary “Marmo” Lucas age 64 of Lebanon, passed away August 10th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Lucas Sr. and Louise “Monnie” Summers; stepfather, Claude Summers; sisters, Geraldine “Nannie” (Odell Grayson) Collinsworth and Joyce “Meme” Young; and her beloved life partner, Brenda Joyce Huffman.
Mary is survived by her son, Taylor (Ali) Jones; grandchildren, Ily Jones, Braxton Bush, Waylon Jones, Lainey Jones, and Lawson Jones; brother, Gerald (Sandy) Lucas; sister, Regina (Mike) Jacobs; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She also leaves behind her cherished fur baby, Daisy and friends.
Mary spent her career in healthcare, serving as Medical Records at The Pavilion Senior Living and Rehab. She was known for her big heart, love of animals, and her loyalty to Vanderbilt athletics and the Tennessee Titans. She also co-owned Taterbug Junction Daycare and Meadowlark Retreat. She loved any moment spent with her grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m and again on Saturday, August 16th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Pastor Kevin Butler will officiate the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to New Leash on Life in her memory.
