Our beloved mother, Mary Chandler, passed away on December 5, 2024 in the early hours of the morning.
Our mother will be missed by all who knew her. We will miss her beautiful spirit, her wonderful laugh and her generous nature. Anyone who knew our mother, knew she loved her family and she loved people and she loved to serve others. Her faith in Jesus Christ kept her strong through many trials in her life. Her faith also allowed her to know that she would be with her family after she passed on. We have faith that she has now been reunited with her loved ones, in a joyous reunion.
Our mother would often say her greatest accomplishments were being a mother and a grammie to her grand-babies. Her surviving children are: Leah Dunnam with 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, Watson Ambruster with 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, Kim Howell with 2 grandchildren, Gigi Ambruster, Joseph Ambruster with 2 grandchildren, Sarah Barber with 4 grandchildren and her foster son: James Yatman with 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouses: Watson Ambruster III and David Chandler and by her parents: Gordon and Eula Powers, and her sister, Jolene Powers.
Surviving siblings: Carolee Ingram, her sister and Gordon Powers, her brother.
A memorial service is to be held at a later time.
