Mary Alice Finch of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents, S. Harvey and Beatrice Nason; husband, Larry Finch; siblings, Bernie Nason, Leonard Nason, Joyce Smith, Willard “Sambo” Nason, Phil Nason, Judie Whiteaker and Gloria Dryer; son-in-law, James Leon Overstreet.
She is survived by daughters, Beth (Ron) Hallmark, Dawn Overstreet, Gail (Tim) Porter and Jennifer Finch; sons, Chris Boswell (Jill Juby) and Joey Boswell; grandchildren, Justin (Sara) Boswell, Stephen (Grace) Powlus, Alyssa (Landon) Dickerson, Forrest (Ashley) Hallmark, Shannon (Adam) Loveless, Zachary (Kaden) Overstreet, Timmy (Aslan) Porter, Erin Porter, Luci Porter and Matt Porter; great-grandchildren, Paisley Boswell, Clara James Powlus, Hatcher Powlus, Reed Powlus, Lincoln Loveless, Westley Porter and Wren Porter; sister in law, Judy Finch as well as two siblings and many other loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close friends that held a special place in her heart.
A dedicated member of Hope Baptist Church, she was an active member in the Phoebe Connections Ministry and spent over 30 years as a nurse at McFarland Hospital. Mary’s passions included gardening, cooking, and crafting. Her legacy of love and generosity will be cherished by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 15th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Funeral Service to begin at 1 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel (602 S. Cumberland St. Lebanon, TN) with Pastor Will McReynolds to officiate. Interment will follow in the Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phoebe Connections Ministry in Mary’s honor.
The family would like to give a special thank you to everyone that sent cards, letters, flowers and visited Mary during her illness.
