Marjorie Ruth Johnson, age 91 of Watertown passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at her home with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clifton and Susie Roberson; husband, J.M. Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth Wiley, Mabel Paul; brothers, Johnny Roberson, Ernest Roberson, and William Roberson.
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Faye (Lannie) Modlin, Patricia (Ron) Bleuer, and Denise (Eddie) Carlisle; grandchildren, Joshua Modlin, Stephanie West, Janelle (Matthew) Tuccori, Peggy Jo (Jeremy) Butcher, Jeremy (Alicia) Johnson, Cody (Stefanie Antonellie) Bleuer, Nicholas (Caylie) Bleuer, and Tyler Carlisle; great grandchildren, Aryanna, Levi, Wyatt, Hannah, Bryce, Madison, Kurtis, McCoy, Charlie, Emma, Luke, Blake, Jack, Tegan, Easton, and baby girl Johnson due in November; nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. Her church and family were the most important things in her life.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Fall Creek Baptist Church with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the service.
Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Modlin, Jeremy Johnson, Tyler Carlisle, Cody Bleuer, Nicholas Bleuer, and Wayne Beadle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Fall Creek Baptist Church in her memory.
