Marilyn Green departed from this life on November 9, 2025 at age 54. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother William Harris and Brother Jason Mull, is 6 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.
Marilyn Kay Harless Green was born in Bristol TN to Gladys Dove Harles and Harold Harles. She was a free spirit and a horse lover all of her days. Marilyn married the love of her life, Rooster Green, and they built a good life together, raising three sons and several horses. She loved riding horses and growing flowers, and caring for her family.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 27 years: Rooster Green; sons and their wives: Nicholas (Amy) Crossfield, Don R. (Lara) Green, and Austin (Hannah) Green; grandchildren: Conner (Hailey) Green, Khloe Green, Hunter Crossfield, and Collins Crossfield; sister: Cynthia Harles; sisters-in-law: Poppy (Chuck) Campbell, Debbie (Jim) Briggs, and Peggy Haley; brother-in-law: Tom Green; nieces: Brandy Cossel and Camren Nicholson; nephews: Cory Page, James Page, Joey Yearta, Mickey Yearta, and Dillion Yearta; great-nieces and nephews: Daniel, Daisy, and Sawyer Nicholson, Connor, Kenna, and Katherine Page, and Harleigh and Charlie Page. She is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Harold Harles, baby brother Curtis Harless, sister Penny Harless, and twin sister Carolyn Page.
