Margie Faye Whited – age 75 of Lebanon passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dawson Reed and Mary Irene Caldwell; husband, James “Jimmy” Whited; brother, Joe Caldwell; sisters, Alma Dean Whited and Reba Fox.
Mrs. Whited is survived by son, James R. (Kathy) Whited; daughter, Dana (Chris) Ross; grandchildren, Paige (Will) Ferrell, Cody (Hoda) Ross, and Miranda (Hunter) Stinson; great grandchildren, Hunter Curry, Summer Ferrell, Ryatt Stinson, Emery Stinson, and due in September, Dawson Stinson; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Mrs. Whited was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved her family dearly and treasured every moment spent together. Whether relaxing at the beach or in the mountains, enjoying a game of cards, or fishing with her late husband, those memories brought her great happiness.
She worked for the Lebanon Woolen Mills for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Her kind spirit, warm heart, and love for life will be remembered always by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 11 -1 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jeff Pratt will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
