Lynda Ann Bryan Sparkman Willis, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at age 81 on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
She was preceded in death by parents, John Nelson and Dorothy Mae White Bryan, Sr. and father of her children, Ira Hugh “Sparky” Sparkman, Sr. and husband, Therman Wayne Willis.
Survived by children, Laurie Sparkman Morris (Stacey) Grissom, Carla (Doug) Inglish, Chip (Traci) Sparkman, and Doralyn (Dustin) Liddell; grandchildren, Irlyn (Chris) Hankins, James “Jake” (Heesun) Morris, Rissa (Jesse) Bullock, Bryanna Morris, Samantha (Devin) Riley, Sarah Greenblatt, Austin (Alexis) Inglish, Cooper (Bo) Whitlock, Hailey (Matthew) Hudspath, Dylan (Vanessa) Speck, Carlie and Tillie Liddell; great-grandchildren, Jameson Hankins, Toby Bullock, Sophia Morris-Yount, Oaklen Inglish, Rigsby Whitlock, Nathan & Noah Hudspath; brother, John Nelson (Sandi) Bryan Jr.; step-children, Tommy (Brenda) Willis and family, Doyle (Teresa) Willis and family, Andy (Dawn) Willis and family, and Amanda (John) Edwards and family.
Lynda Ann was a member of Bethel Church of Christ and a life long Christian who loved to share the message with everyone. She attended Shop Springs School and was a 1961 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was in the FCE for over 50 years, a member of the fair board for over 30 years, a member of the Lions Club, and a poll volunteer with the Wilson County Election Commission. Lynda Ann enjoyed her plants, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, Christmas baking, and sewing, including making many masks during covid for healthcare workers. She loved her Shop Springs community and her century farm. Lynda Ann was generous and willing to sacrifice for her family whom she loved. Her greatest pleasure in life was being Oma, Honey, and Aurora.
Visitation will be held at Partlow Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1 p.m – 4 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4 p.m. Bro. Brian Horner will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Bethel Church of Christ, 2427 Sparta Pike, Lebanon, Tn 37090 in Lynda Ann’s memory.
