Luther Earl Hudson age 78 of Lebanon, died Monday evening, May 1, 2023 at Vanderbilt-Wilson Hospital in Lebanon.
Born Feb. 19, 1945 in Putnam County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Bea Lane Hudson and was preceded in death by a grandson, Chase Hoover, great-granddaughter, Cadance Thibodeaux and brother, Lee Hudson.
Luther was owner and operator of American Auto Boby and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Belva Joann Whitehead Hudson of Lebanon; children, Jeanie Hoover of Lebanon, Sherrie Lee of Bowling Green, KY, Todd (Wendy) Hudson of Watertown; grandchildren, JJ. Hoover, Nicolette Daugherty, Dalton Hudson, Kayla Altmiller, Victoria Lee; great-grandchildren, Mason and Jaydin Hoover, Ellie Jo and Hudson Lane Daugherty, Aidan Beck, Gavin and Addison Thibodeaux, Kennedy Altmiller, Natalie and Chloe Hoover; brothers, Gilbert Hudson, James (Evelyn) Hudson, Herman Hudson; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Karl Hudson officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. till service time on Friday.
