Linda Darlene Johnson Barrett, age 79 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.
Born March 31, 1944 in Norene, she was the daughter of the late William Dallas Johnson and Ollie D. Cunningham Johnson.
Linda was a 1962 graduate of Watertown High School and had a 28 year career with Lebanon Bank. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William K. “Brownie” Johnson and Bedford Johnson; sister, Shirley Mitchell and an infant sister, Deborah Gail Johnson.
Linda is survived by her husband, Wayne Barrett; son, Greg Barrett (Juanita Denton); daughter, Kim Stoecker (Patrick); grandchildren, Chase and Colbe Barrett, Kara Flippo (Jonah), Collin and Ethan Stoecker; great-grandson, Callen Flippo; sister, Elaine Cox; brother, Riley Johnson; sister-in-law, Lela Johnson; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Sisk officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. till service time on Friday. Pallbearers, Patrick, Collin and Ethan Stoecker, Jonah Flippo, Timmy Mitchell, Jeff and Carson Cox.
