Kathleen Steele, age 70, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Born on September 6, 1954, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kathleen lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep love for her family, and an enduring faith in God.
She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Steve Steele (Dayna Steele) and Joe Elder (Jennifer Pugh). Kathleen was also the proud grandmother of Justin Elder and the cherished daughter of Josephine Holt.
Her gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering belief in God were evident in the way she lived and loved. She touched many lives with her compassion, grace, and steady presence.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Partlow Funeral Chapel, 602 S Cumberland St, Lebanon, TN 37087. Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., with a service following from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Kathleen’s faith and love continue to live on through her family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
