Jon Langenback, age 64 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home with his family after a long battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. He was a beloved husband and father. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery will be private.
Jon Edward Langenback was born in West Palm Beach FL to Evelyn Marie Christianson Langenback and Leo Langenback, both of Sparta TN. He met and married the love of his life, Carol Boyd and they had two sons.
Jon worked as an Electronic Technician for the Postal Service in Donelson for more than 22 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tinkering in his barn, and taking his antique tractors to shows with his son.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Langenback; sons Daniel (Sarah) Langenback of Lebanon and Jonathan Langenback of Lebanon TN; mother: Evelyn Langenback; brothers: James Langenback of Cookeville TN and Joseph Langenback of Sparta TN; and sister: Joy Perrin of Jackson County TN. He is preceded in death by father Leo Langenback.
