Joey Lee Heady age 53 of Chestnut Mound, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 at his residence. Born April 2, 1971 in Lebanon, he was the son of Joe Louis Heady and the late Brenda Gail Lamb Heady and he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Heady.
Joey was a commercial truck driver and a stone mason.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Bunch Heady; children, Josh Marek (Lexie), Justin (Madalyn) Marek, Landon (Harley) Marek, Bobby (Kasey) Heady; grandchildren, Brayden Marek, Tyson Marek, Chloe Marek, Braxton Heady, Abel Marek, Addy Little, Grayson Marek, Ella Marek, Ava Silcox, Landon Marek, Jr., Jaxx Heady, Rhianna Burlison, Kyley Marek; his father, Joe Louis Heady and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Smith, Bro. Roger Smith and Ernest Belafonte officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Interment will follow at Hunter Memorial Park.
