Joel White passed away peacefully at the age of 71.
Joel is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Marjorie Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Tyler (Kayla) White; grandchildren, Knox and Lakelyn White; daughter, Jennifer King; siblings, Ben Alan Pruitt (Leslie), Betty Ann (Dave) White, and Annie (Randall) Lamb; nephews, Grey Dalton, and Brett Pruitt; best friend, Mike Tompkins; fur babies, Pearl and Huck.
Joel worked for Turner Construction for 20+ years before retiring. He loved to fish, the lake, sunsets, playing with Lakelyn, and doing archery with Knox, he was known as Cat Daddy to Knox and Lakelyn. He especially loved Christmas. He never met a stranger and loved his dogs.
Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4 pm-7 pm, with Memorial services to follow at 7 pm, at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nashville Humane Society.
