Mr. Jerry Wayne Davis, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, age 82 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was born on Monday, February 1st, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Joseph and Ora Barnhill Davis. Jerry was received Home with great joy by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.
The Memorial Service, conducted by Bro. Craig Evans, will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet, on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at 01:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service on Saturday, April 12th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 01:00 p.m.
He is survived by loving wife of 40 years, Kathy Davis; children, Stacy (Edwin) Dampier and Jason (Becky) Davis; grandchildren, Aiden Dampier and Colton Davis; sister, Carolyn Wilson.
Jerry grew up in the Nashville area, graduating from Issac Litton High School. He served as a food broker in the grocery business where he became a familiar face to many. He loved people and truly had the gift of gab.
Mr. Davis was a faithful member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, and the Lake Providence at Del Webb community where he worked the security gate for several years. He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, traveling, and boating.
