Jean Simpson Allison, age 84 of Watertown, Tennessee passed away on Thursday morning, Sept. 1, 2022 at her residence.
Born Nov. 1, 1937 in Commerce, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lacy and Ethel Lee Macon Simpson.
Jean was a lifelong member of the Commerce Church of Christ, she was a graduate of Watertown High School and attended Cumberland College. Jean was the first woman appointed to the Wilson Co. Farm Services Agency where she served several years.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Allison; daughters, Teresa Couch and her husband, David of Lebanon and Renee Cripps and her husband, Jason of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jessi Couch, Addie (Eric) Hardeman, Alex Cripps and Allison Cripps; great-grandson, Clay Hardeman; sister, Delores Wright and her husband, Jackie of Watertown.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022 at Hunter Funeral Home with Jason Cripps officiating. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Saturday and 12 Noon till service time Sunday.
