Mrs. Janis Ann Powers Paris passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, she was 84 years old.
Janis was born in Detroit Michigan to Beulah Morris and Ernest Paul Powers.
She enjoyed shopping, traveling, reading, and crocheting. She also loved history. Mrs. Paris worked for many years as a church secretary.
She is survived by children: Beverly Paris, Steve (Lesley) Powers, Sherry Escobar, and Michele (Kenny) Wilee; grandchildren: Chris Harris, Tabitha (Brent) Reed, Rachel (Timmy) Harris, Paige (Chad) McBroom, Tatum (Garrett) Ortlepp, Chazz Jones, and Paul, Scott, Joshua, and Cody Powers; great-grandchildren: Joseph Harris, Samuel Harris, David Harris, Kora Reed, Paxton Ortlepp, Rowan Ortlepp, Adler McBroom, and Warren McBroom; brother-in-law: Sid Paris; and fur grandbaby: Jimbo.
She is preceded in death by husband James Paris, parents Beulah and Paul Powers, and brother Moe Powers.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend David Hesson and Chris Harris, is 12 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at noon.
