Honeycutt, James K., age 100, of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025.
James was born in Fountainhead, Tennessee and was the son of the late James and Maudie Honeycutt.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and enjoyed helping others throughout his life.
He loved working outdoors, fishing, and fixing lawnmowers.
“Pappy”, as he was affectionately known, was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Honeycutt, his daughter, Annette Stevens, and a brother, Carlos Honeycutt.
He is survived by:
- Sons – James David (Jannette) Honeycutt and Danny Reed Honeycutt;
- Brother – Curtis Honeycutt;
- 6 Grandchildren;
- 13 Great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday June 23, 2025, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Whitener officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
