James A. Beck, 79 years of age, of Mount Juliet, Tn, passed away on March 30th, 2026. Though our hearts are heavy, our family is rejoicing he is now with Jesus his Lord and Savior.
Jim was born in Nashville, Tn to JW and Hazel Beck on January 9th, 1947. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna Beck, on September 28th, 1968. They were married for 57 years and raised three daughters, Stacey, Heather, and Kelly.
He graduated from John Overton High School and joined the US Navy as a Sea Bee in 1968. He had two tours of duty, Guantanamo, Cuba and Vietnam. He retired from Ford Glass Plant after 30+ years and continued working at Champion’s Choice, Inc for 10+ years before retiring in 2019.
Jim loved his family and friends and was a true patriot. He also enjoyed riding his tractor, sitting on the porch, and eating country ham and catfish.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, JW and Hazel Beck. His sisters, Jean Rowlett and Joey Ladd. His brother-in-law Herbert Rowlett.
Jim will be missed and remembered by his wife Donna Beck. Children: Stacey Broadstreet (Mark), Heather Beck, Kelly Joy (David). Grandchildren: Ashley Beck (Tyler), Sierra Painter (Cody), Kenny Medina, Megan Broadstreet (Nick), Eli Broadstreet, and Madison Joy.
Great Grandchildren: Wyatt Painter, Emma Painter, Robin Beck, Mark Steele, and Eric Steele. Many other extended family and friends will continue to have fond memories of Jim as well.
