Jackie Ray Hill passed away Thursday March 27, 2025 at age 81.
Funeral Service will be held Monday March 31, 2025 at 2 p.m.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and again on Monday from noon until service time at 2 p.m.
Active Pallbearers: Tyler Hill, Jordan Brown, Jonathon Roberts, Scott Martin, Scott Roberts and Jeff Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers: Gale Sanders, Paul Stockdale, Artie Whitaker, Ken Whitaker, Jerry Whitaker, Tony Murray and Darren “Beany” Carter.
Jackie was born in New Tazewell, TN to Gladys Large and Paul Edward Hill. He retired from boilermakers after 25 years. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church for 35+ years. Jackie enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Gallatin #6 for 55 years.
He is survived by his wife Sherral Hill, son Boyd “Bo” (Andrea) Hill of Portland TN, daughter Ginger (Glenn) Nabors of Hendersonville, TN, four grandchildren Tyler (Destiny) Hill, Logan (Heather) Hill, Molly (Jordan) Brown and Peyton (fiancée Jonathon Roberts) Patterson, four great grandchildren Waverly and Jayden Brown and Delilah and Wesley Hill.
He is preceded in death by his son Mark Hill, brother Jim Hill, sister Josephine Beckner and parents Gladys and Paul Hill.
