Mrs. Imogene Buckner Kolbe, age 90 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Lebanon Health.
Born March 29, 1934, in Monterey, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late William Jefferson “Bill” Buckner and Eliza Jane Burgess Buckner.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and had been attending Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, Walter Joe Kolbe on March 19, 2015; sister, Willene Clemmons; and five brothers, Benton, S. T., Emerson, General Lee, and Odie Buckner.
She is survived by two children, Nathan (Tammy) Kolbe and Lois (Anthony) Hall; four grandchildren, Lindsey (Jake) Simko, Emily Hall, Brennan (Cara) Kolbe, and Melanie (Johnathon) Rich; and six great-grandchildren: Everleigh, Jed, and Eden Simko, Eana and Leo Kolbe, and Ruby Leigh Rich.
Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Buckner Kolbe will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Johnathon Rich and Bro. Brennan Kolbe officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 3-7 PM and Thursday after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo.
