Henry Douglas “Doug” Stone Jr, passed away at the age of 70, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, with his loving family surrounding him.
Doug was the quiet one, but also the wiser one. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, taking out the camper with Jane, scuba diving, travel, he was a master machinist, played the trumpet, but most of all he loved his family, and he loved the Lord. He served on two mission trips to Haiti.
Doug had a long career as a technician in auto manufacturing and just completed 10 years at Nissan.
He is preceded by parents Henry Douglas Stone Sr. and Ruthie Eunice Stone, mother and father-in-law Frank L. White and Mary J. White, brothers-in-law Teo Mestas and Gary R. White.
He is survived by wife of 30 yrs. Jane W. Stone; daughter Carrie Lynn Fletcher (Terry); grandchildren, Alexis and Miles Fletcher; sister Lana Wood (Ron); sister-in-law Janice White Mestas; brother-in-law, David L. White (Diane) Nieces and nephews Andrea Fuller (Troy), Jamie White (Kathy), Ryan Mestas, Garrett Mestas (Samantha), Nicole Pulcher (Nick), Max Mestas (Veronica), Darcy White, Rebecca Champagne (Matt), Scott Wood (Natasha) and many loving cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11 am-1 pm with service by Bro. Chuck Groover to follow at 1:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Victory Baptist Church will also be live streaming the service. https://www.sellarsfh.com
