Hazel S. Palmer Bennett, age 85, of Lebanon, passed away on January 21, 2025.
Hazel Sandra Lance Palmer Bennett was born in Centertown, TN to Anna Bell Griffith Lance and Hubert Lance.
Hazel enjoyed bowling, gardening, and cooking. Hazel was very proud of her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by parents Anna Bell and Hubert Lance, late husband Hollis “Paul” Palmer, daughter Kimberly Dixon, daughter-in-law Diana Palmer, and grandson Jeremy Jones.
She is survived by husband Charles “Chuck” Bennett; children: Greg Palmer, Russell (Cyndi) Palmer, and Robin (Marty Delashmitt) McCaleb; step-sons: Sheldon (Felicia) Bennett and Allen (Mary) Bennett; 11 grandchildren: Brandi (Stephen) Goodall, Ashlee (James) Clayton, Daniel (Coumba) Palmer, Matthew (Brook) Palmer, and Benjamin (Madison) Palmer, Rachel Carter, LaShea (Jon Hart) Owen, Brandon (Brandi) Bennett, Stephen (Janeth) Bennett, Cameron Bennett, and Kendall Bennett; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 12 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Gardens of Memory, McMinnville TN, will follow the service. Pallbearers: Grandsons, Daniel, Matthew, Benjamin Palmer, Stephen Goodall, James Clayton, and Jon Hart. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m.
