Gaylene “Baaboo” Welty, age 70, of Lebanon TN, passed away on June 11, 2025.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kenny Dillon, is 6 p.m. Saturday June 14, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.
Gaylene Shirley Welty was born in Kennett MO to Latreva Ann Russel Welty and Walter Welty. She Loved well. Gaylene thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cross stitching and embroidery were her favorite hobbies though she also enjoyed listening to music and singing. Nothing came close to being grandma though.
Gaylene is Survived by her children: Christie Jones, William (Amy) Brim, and Tabitha Brim; grandchildren: Aaron (Brookelynne) Jones, Cory Jones, River Brim, Ronny Brim, and Wren Brim; brothers: Larry (Vickie) Welty and Robert Welty; and sister-in-law: Vickie Welty. She is preceded in death by parents Latreva and Walter Welty and brother Terry Welty.
