Gary Granstaff, age 61, of Lebanon, Tennessee, went peacefully to be with Jesus on January 3, 2026. A Celebration of Life service, officiated by Pastor Erik Reed of The Journey Church, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Gary Daniel Granstaff was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, to Deloris Singleton Granstaff and LeRoy Granstaff. A journeyman electrician by trade, Gary took deep pride in his work, valuing both the craft and the care it required.
Thirty years ago, he married Gina Sadak, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared adventures. They raised two children, shared their home with two dogs, and made memories that will last a lifetime. Gary loved spending time with his kids, whether it was just being together or finding ways to have fun. He especially enjoyed traveling out west with Gina, where they shared some of their favorite moments side by side.
Music held a special place in his heart, and they loved attending concerts at Red Rocks and beyond. He also had a deep appreciation for history and could often be found tinkering in the garage. Gary and his family were faithful members of The Journey Church, where they worshiped and found community together.
Gary is survived by his wife Gina of 30 years, children Cheyenne (Kellen) Lively, Hunter Granstaff, and 8-month-old grandson, KJ Lively. In addition, his mother Deloris Granstaff, brother Montie (Beverly) Granstaff, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father LeRoy Granstaff and brother Rickie Granstaff.
