Fred Collins, passed away on July 4th, 2024, at the age of 77, in Mt. Juliet, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ferris and Dorothy Collins, sister Nancy Collins.
He is survived by his wife of 46+ years Margaret Collins, son; Scott Collins, daughter; Lisa Collins, brother, Bob (Nancy Ann) Collins. Many other loving family and friends; and his brotherhood firefighters.
Fred worked for the Chicago Fire Department for 30+ yrs, where he was the District Commander of EMS, before moving to Mt. Juliet, TN where the weather was warmer, where he could play golf, he was a car guru, loved his convertible corvette, his is faithful fur companion, Samson,
Visitation will be held with the family on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 2:30-4:00 pm, at Sellars Funeral Home Mt. Juliet.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to any 1st responders or Veteran of your choice.
