Mrs. Gladys Faye Jordan Webb, better known as Faye, age 84 passed away at 11:07pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Faye was born September 3, 1941 in the DeRossett community of White County to the late Elmore and Vesta Sims Jordan. She was a homemaker. Faye was active in her church and with her independent spirit, she liked to keep to herself at home but always loved being Granny.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband William Morgan “Bill” Webb who died October 12, 2007 and her grandparents, Grover and Callie Myatt Sims, Jefferson “Buck” and Annie Craig Jordan.
Surviving family members include her two children and their spouses, Terry and Becky Abston, Charlotte and Joe Sandoval.
Grandchildren: Chris Abston, Travis Rich and Steven Rich and wife Stacie.
Great-grandchild: Logan Rich.
Sister: Carolyn Niess and husband Joe.
Niece: Tammy Billings.
Nephew: Michael Jolley.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00am Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Highland Cemetery. In honor of Faye’s wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the service.
