Ms. Evelyn Deering Brown, age 68 of Carthage, died Monday evening, January 26 at her son’s home in Cookeville. She is survived by: son, Shane Brown and wife Mindi of Cookeville; daughter, Latosha Raines and husband Jonathan of Maggart; 6 grandchildren, Lucas and Dylan Raines, Cameron “Blake” and Chloe Quick, Kennedy and Ace Brown; sister, Dale Deering Drennon and husband Dwight of Lebanon.
Ms. Brown is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral home where her service will be conducted on Friday, January 30 at 3:00 PM. Edward Anderson will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Lucas Raines, Dylan Raines, Ridge Long, Marty Waller, Jeremy Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Jason Stewart, Eric Burton.
Visitation on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Friday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM.
