Ethel F. Wallace, age 90, of Lebanon TN, reunited with her husband in Heaven on June 13, 2025.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Anthony Dixon, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Tuckers Crossroads, will follow the service.
Pallbearers: Todd Jenkins, Mike Wallace, Justin Haynes, Will Belcher, Keith Belcher, and Renan Souza. Honorary Pallbearer: Arden Belcher and Jessica Haynes.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 p.m.- 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
Ethel Frances Fisher Wallace was born in Hartsville TN on March 10, 1935 to Mary Lou Baker Fisher and Johnie Lee Fisher. She was saved at age 15 at Hogan’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church and baptized by Brother Walter Deweese shortly thereafter. She was a current member of Knob Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Ethel Fisher married Clyde Wallace at the age of 15 on October 18, 1950 and together they built a home and family. Mrs. Wallace acted out her belief in the power of home and received joy from cooking and caring for her family. Time spent with her children and especially the grandchildren was treasured. She also enjoyed going to church, crochet and travelling.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace moved to Lebanon in 1959 and she began working at Precision Rubber on third shift for the next seven years to help supplement the family’s finances. She also was a Certified Nurse’s Aid at Quality Care for several years in the 1990’s.
Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Clyde Wallace, parents Mary Lou and Johnie Lee Fisher, brothers W.C. Fisher, Henry Fisher, Bobby Fisher, Marvin “Buddy” Fisher, and sisters Pauline Astin, Dot Gregory, and Virginia Fisher.
She is survived by children: Paulette (Billy) Belcher, Clara King, and Mike (Jodie) Wallace; bonus son: Todd Jenkins; grandchildren: Keith Belcher and Jennifer King; great-grandchildren: Justin Haynes, Jessica Haynes, Will Belcher, Rayne Ledbetter, Arden Belcher, Stella Trosper, and Theo Goodnight; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
