Ethan Daniel Alaamhsn Boots passed from this life on May 20, 2026 at age 23. Celebration of Life is 11am on Friday, May 29th, 2026. Visitation will be from 10am until the service at 11 a.m., at Joy Church International (10085 Lebanon Rd), Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Ethan’s life was more about the simple things. People, conversations, music, hanging out, seeing the stars, sitting under a tree, walking down the road, skating on the roads or sidewalks, being at the dog park, on a hike with his brothers, swimming in the waterfall, on the pontoon with his friends, building with his brother, all night conversations often with his BIG brother, cooking in the kitchen, or making a round of coffees for the whole family, just because. Talking to the homeless, the clerk at the Circle K, making a friend, or gathering a group of people to make everyone included. Spending time with his siblings hanging out of the car LITERALLY with the wind in his hair, while jamming to the music. Loving family vacations, giving us a beat at the swimming pool and everybody taking a turn free styling is something all of us will hold tight to forever.

He also, really loved his life, his childhood, and even more recently mentioned how very much he loved the church, and the life it provided for him. Even more so, he loved the many saints in the church, we often talked about as we reminisced of the way they provided for us through the years. We often joked around, they fed us, they clothed us, they put braces on our children, food on our table, and shoes on their feet.

He chose to attend BSSM, in Redding California, following homeschooling all his life, at home with his brothers and sisters. Hold onto his dogs fall on body hugs because Bentley was his BFF. The one thing he wanted everybody to take care of.

But truly, taking care of people and especially his grandparents were two of his favorite things. Just recently making sure his grandparents, who are 81 and 78, made it all the way through the airport clear to the Bahamas with no complaints. In fact, when talking about him headed to heaven, they were the one thing he was disappointed wouldn’t be there with him. Having a sister he truly loved was one of his favorite things. As back in the day, she would wake him up, change his diaper and be sure he was dressed for the day. Later on, it was cool cause she had all the friends, she was beautiful and it always gave the three brothers a place for a party and to plug-in. Even going as far to serve and be her escorts on her sweet 16th.

Early on, he was given the name by his other grandmother of Dr. Daniel. Mainly because in conversation, he often came up with little tokens of wisdom that he couldn’t wait to share. Little tokens of truth and insight adding in while adults were talking. And they were rather helpful. His favorite thing.

To sit at the keys, to strum the guitar, to sit by the river, or be with his brothers. A simple guy. Spaghetti, a Red Bull, Takis, a drive in a car, a flower in a field, often picked just for his mother, grandmother, sister-in-love, or whatever friend happened to be near. Making sure everyone was invited, he would bring them in. His mission in life was to make music, treat people the way he wanted to be treated, and lived life to the fullest. Always a smile on his face, scared of nothing, and would do anything. Faced death, more than once. Fearless, was the way he lived. Wanting to change the world, one life at a time. Lyrics were his thing, a freestyle, here or there, and could pretty much just sit at the keys and begin to sing. Enjoying teaching himself, as he strummed the guitar, often having all night sessions, then slept all day. He loved to sleep. He loved nature. And he loved his family. Ethan never hung on to anything, but old shoes. Never liked brand names, but wanted his own style, from the earliest of days. Especially after, having me as a mom, where I loved dressing them in bright colors, and often matching his family, which drove them all crazy.

Biggest take home with Ethan was, life is short, live it well. Not much matters, but people do. Coming from the little man, who one day took his walk at the city fair, a boy who could barely speak because everyone spoke for him, took the center stage and won the hearts of the audience. Gaining Mr. Personality then, and learning today everybody loved this boy. Most recently he thought the best thing in life was Walden, his new little nephew, and he couldn’t wait to hold his other niece and nephew in eternity. They were his pride and Joy. Mentioning he couldn’t wait to be with his grandpas and grandma who were already there with Jesus. And actually, making the statement in heaven, I know I have friends there.

At the end of the day, he would want everybody to know Jesus. Not just say they know Jesus, but really truly know Jesus. And today we want to say, we honor the life of our son. He taught us how to live, how to be free and how to soar. Not on our own ability, but on the power of Christ. We love you, Ethan and we thank you for changing the world so that they might know HIM. Jesus certainly took center stage and every seed that was sown will reap the dividends that God had in mind.
