Edward “Ed” Overstreet – age 89 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He was born on May 7, 1936 to the late Curtis and Nina Overstreet.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, David and Carl Overstreet; and sister, Ruth Armistead.
He is survived by wife of 64 years, Lois Owen Overstreet; special niece Glenda (Jim) Duke and special nephew, Randy (Teresa) Mitchell; special friends, Evonne McIntosh and the Fox family.
Mr. Overstreet was an Army Veteran and worked for the Lebanon Woolen Mill for 42 years. He was a 1956 Lebanon High School graduate and captain of the football team.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens with visitation at Partlow Funeral Chapel from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Rev. Jim Duke will officiate the services.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
