It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwayne Anthony Reese Sr. on June 28, 2026, at the age of 55. After a courageous battle with cancer, Dwayne peacefully transitioned into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior. His strength and grace throughout his illness were a testament to his unwavering faith, and he will forever be remembered for his radiant spirit.

A Funeral Service honoring Dwayne’s life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon, TN. Family and friends are invited to gather from noon until the service begins, offering a space for shared memories and support. Following the service, Dwayne will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Born in Greenville, SC, to Dorothy Jean Dickey Reese and Andrew Reese Jr., Dwayne was passionate about sports, particularly football and basketball. He could brighten up any room with his enthusiastic discussions about players and games. Family movie nights brought him immense joy, as he cherished those moments spent with Tina and DJ. Dwayne had an extraordinary love for his family and a profound devotion to his faith, worshipping as a beloved member of the Lebanon 7th-day Adventist congregation.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina Pedigo Reese, whom he adored for over eleven years and married for the last year and a half; his precious children, Dwayne “D.J.” Reese Jr. and Christyna Reese; and his cherished grandchildren, Cynthyana, Cynsay, Angyl, and Jamyir. Dwayne also leaves behind his loving father, Andrew (Paulette) Reese; his siblings, Randy (Ann) Reese, Greg (Tan) Reese, Tanisha (B) Wilkes, and Chris Monroe; and nieces and nephews: Nichole, Little Greg, Natalie, Shanita, Mackenzie, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his devoted mother, Dorothy “Dot” Reese, and his beloved grandparents, Alberta and Andrew Reese Sr., and Georgia and Jackson Dickey.

Dwayne’s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to inspire those who knew him. He touched many lives with his kindness and gentle spirit, and all will profoundly miss him.
