William “Dusty” Gile Garmon, age 67 of Lebanon TN, passed away on May 30, 2025. The family will be receiving family and friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, TN, on June 10, 2025 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Boilermaker Rites will be performed at 5 p.m.
Dusty was born in Nashville, TN to Margie and George Garmon. He enjoyed spending time with his bride and grandchildren, shooting sporting clays, and watching football, along with sipping his usual “double tall” of VO and Diet Coke. Dusty worked for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers for 43 years and was proud to retire as an international representative. He adored his brothers of the union, as well as many other friends he met along this journey.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Terry Hays Garmon, daughter Ashley (Rex) Hindman, grandchildren Dallas, Annie, Hudson, Dusty Miller, Bo, and Joey. Siblings, Bobby (Colleen) Garmon, and Mary Catherine (Cathy) Garmon, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Dusty was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and George Garmon, and brother Thomas (Tommy) Sidney Garmon.
