Mrs. Dolores Escarcega Martinez of Lebanon, Tennessee, age 89, passed away on October 13, 2023 at Quality Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico to father Romando Escarcega and mother Manuela Melendez Escarcega.
She was a 1953 graduate of Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach, California. On October 20, 1956 she married Tomas Martinez in San Diego, California.
She worked at the San Diego Trolley Company as an assistant code compliance supervisor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Manuel Escarcega and sister Chris Lowe.
Survivors include loving children Cynthia Parish, Patricia (Steve) Gillette, and Tom Martinez; grandchildren Ian Parish, Jake Martinez, Matthew Gillette, Tommy Parish, Cole Martinez, Michael Gillette, and Myles Martinez; great-grandchildren Olivia Parish and Ethan Parish; siblings Bea Shaw, Martha Arellano, and Dina Pickron.
