Mrs. Dimple McCaleb Piercey Taylor age 92 of Lebanon passed away peacefully June 30, 2025, at the Pavilion Senior Living. She was born February 10, 1933, in the McCaleb Hollow in Smith County to the late Willie McCaleb and Molly Jones McCaleb. She retired from Lux Clock after thirty-eight years of service and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Wayne Piercey and George Taylor; three sisters: Fostyne Lain, Bill Overstreet, Ina Pettross; four brothers: Bennie, Nat, Bill, and L.B. McCaleb; two half-brothers: Johnny and Robert Overstreet.
Survivors include her son, Jim (Brenda) Piercey; two grandchildren: Jennifer (Shane) Conatser, Joshua (Danielle) Piercey; four great-grandchildren: Colton Conatser, Madeline Piercey, Brady Conatser, Sloan Piercey; sister, Frankie Tomlinson. A special thanks to LaKita Smith and the rest of the staff at the Pavilion and to Alive Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Danny Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation Monday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
