Dennis Adams passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at the age of 65.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Mildred Adams; sisters, Glenda Anderson, and Gayle Wright.
Survived by his wife of 48yrs; Carlene Adams, daughters; Shauna (James) Lane-Uhles, and Candace (Brian) Kerr; grandchildren, Tiffany Lane, Jennifer Lane, Adam Tate, Gabriel Uhles, Carly Kerr, and Ella Kerr; sisters; Shelley McCarty, and LouAnn Sanders; many loving aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
Dennis and Carlene met at McKendree Village in July 1977, Dennis asked Carlene out in August 1977, they were married November 1st, 1977. Carlene said her last goodbye to Dennis December 25, 2025 at McKendree Village. 48 years later their love story was a complete circle.
Dennis loved his grandchildren, they were the light of his life, listening to Carlene sing, watching westerns, playing cards, working on just about everything, and his motorcycles. He drove a school bus for 32 years for Metro Davidson County School.
Visitation will Monday, December 29, 2025 at Sellars Funeral Home Mt. Juliet from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Funeral service will be at 12:00pm. Interment will follow service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brian Kerr, Adam Tate, Larry Kerr, Christopher Anderson, Gene Lawrence, Dewayne Fulcher.
