David Edward Bingham (Dave), 86, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2025. Dave was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn Ruth Bingham; parents, Gordon and Jane Bingham and brother, Joe Bingham.
He is survived by his children, Neild Bingham, Todd (Denise) Bingham, Brock Bingham, Craig (Suzanne) Bingham; his brother, Rick Bingham; his grandchildren, Kayla (Jacob) Lee, Blade Bingham, Morgan Bingham, Elena Bingham, Grace Bingham, Olivia Bingham, Chilton McCullough; and 7 great grandchildren.
The second of three children, Dave was born in Washington, DC on May 7, 1938, but spent much of his youth in Miami, Florida, where he and Marilyn met. He spent his professional career working for Bellsouth, AT&T, and NCR retiring after 42 years.
Dave was a faithful and loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be remembered for his integrity, friendliness and commitment to family. He saw everyone as a friend and would often strike up conversations with complete strangers much to the dismay of his children and grandchildren.
He loved living in Lebanon, TN and other than marrying Marilyn, counted moving there in 1976 as the best decision he ever made. He had a love for country and served in the Army from 1959 to 1961.
Dave loved bowling and tennis and shared both activities with his wife and children throughout his life. He will be remembered as a good man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
