Carole Dianne Stottlemyer age 77, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Although Carole was a breast cancer survivor. She ultimately lost her battle with Alzheimer’s. She passed away peacefully with her husband by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Mattie Davis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Stottlemyer; children, Holly (Keith) McAfee and Todd (Becky) Stottlemyer; brother, Lamar (Linda) Davis; sister, Melinda Toombs; and grandchildren, Blake, Austin, Chloe, AJ, and Claire.
Carole, a long-time resident of Mt. Juliet, was a beloved “Nana” to her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Anyone who knew Carole would agree she was one of the most giving people. She loved to cook and enjoyed antiquing and attending yard sales.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd at 3 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd from 12 pm until service time at 3 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. The Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Milan, Tennessee on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 12pm.
