Bulah Beatty passed away on July 7, 2024 at age 93.
Bulah F. Cherry Beatty was born in Gallatin TN to Bulah Atress Billingsly and Bethel Cherry.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cross stitch, traveling, and collecting many things stamped occupied Japan China. She worked as a Data Processing Administrator at The Methodist Publishing House for 25 years and survived raising 2 boys alone. She was a member of the Maple Hill Church of Christ for thirty plus years.
Mrs. Beatty is survived by her children: Mike (Sharon) Flanagan, Craig Flanagan, and Chuck (Linda) Beatty; grandchildren: Bryan (Bonnie) Flanagan, Dr. Kyle (Dr. Julianne) Flanagan, and Kristi and Kelsey Beatty; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Flanagan and Meagan Flanagan; siblings: Polly Norman and Roy Cherry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband of 45 years, Bill Beatty, parents Atress and Bethel Cherry, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Wayne Miller and Brother Mike Wamble, is at 1 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Gary Clark, Clay Clark, Greg Cherry, Kenneth Keith, Jeff Norman, Ronnie Pepper, and Steve Ferguson. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
