Brenda Ann Cox, age 82 of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hardison Thrasher & Rachel Ann Thrasher; granddaughters, Misty Dawn Bradley & Mandy Leigh Bradley; sister, Patricia Thrasher Vaughn & her husband, Jerry Thomas Vaughn; brother-in-law, Larry Pigue and nephew, Keith Pigue.
Brenda is survived by by her daughter, Dawn (Steve) Bradley; grandchildren, Micheal (Megan) Bradley; great grandchildren, Matthew Bradley & Madeleine Bradley; brothers, Lane (Peggy) Thrasher, Dennis Thrasher, Jim Thrasher; sister Nancy Pigue; many loving nieces and nephews and special friends, Janet and Jerry Jones.
Brenda was a graduate of Columbia High School and a lifelong member of Berea Church of Christ. She faithfully taught Sunday School there for 37 years and dearly loved her church.
She was a sweet, kind, and selfless Christian woman who loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her. Brenda enjoyed reading her Bible and daily devotions. She also worked in childcare, where she cared for each child with love and kindness. She will be remembered for her faith and the love she shared with others.
Visitation for Brenda will be held Friday, March 20th from 4 p.m to 7 p.m at Berea Church of Christ and Saturday from 9 a.m to 10 a.m with the service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Kevin White to officiate the services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
