Billy Barnes, age 67, of Lebanon TN, passed away on June 7, 2025. Billy “Billy Goat” Earl Barnes was born in Lebanon TN to Mary Frances Butner Barnes and Dillard Barnes. He could fix anything so turned that into a business of home repair. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, socializing and playing pool. Billy was very involved in the family adventure of Top Rope Wrestling.
Billy is survived by his children: Angel (Joslin) Barnes, Joseph (Kaylan) Reed, Brandon Barnes, and Jason (Iris) Lackey; grandchildren: Aiden Barnes, Christopher Barnes, and Brandon, Emily, Caleb, Jacob, and Alicia Lackey; siblings: Ann Breeding, Bobby (Donna) Barnes, Jane (Randall) Garrett, and Johnathan (Amber) Simmons; cousin Stella Coffee and her boyfriend Shawn for their help in his care. He is preceded in death by parents Frances and Dillard Barnes, brothers Kenneth, Dillard Ray, and Leon “DD” Barnes, and sister Eunice.
