Billie Jo King of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, she was 85 years old.
Billie Jo was born in Tillman, SC and was the daughter of the late, Henry Wilson Floyd and Mamie Lila Grimes Floyd.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Charles King, Sr.; son, Bobby Charles King, Jr. and siblings, Derrel Steverson, Juanita Wilson and Dora Roberts.
Billie Jo was retired Director of Transportation for the Wilson County School System. She enjoyed gardening and junking.
She is survived by:
Children – Robert Wayne (Jackie) Murphy, Tracy Fialkowski and Barbara (Bobby) Franklin
Step-sons – Wayne King and Ricky King
Brother – Winston “Ted” (Diane) Floyd
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Reese officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Cayson Walz, Bobby Franklin, Daniel Walz, Brandon Spears, Jamie Fialkowski and Brett Franklin.
