Beverly Sue Jackson, age 82, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Beverly was born in Henderson, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucille Risley.

She was an intelligent, hardworking, and kindhearted woman. Beverly was the first in her family to obtain a college degree and did so with determination while working a full time job. She worked for many years as a Human Resource Officer for the TVA, where she made many lifelong friends.

During her time in Nashville, she gave her time to volunteering at TPAC, The Nashville Airport, and was a member of The Red Hat Society where she made many friends. She was always so generous with her time and resources. She had a green thumb, enjoyed flowers and gardening, and was always cheering on her favorite basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats. Beverly always lived life to the fullest.

She loved to laugh and when you were in her presence, you couldn’t help but smile and laugh with her. She loved her family deeply and loved to make memories with them. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was known as “Gram,” and she was the very best Gram. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity that they will always carry with them.

While we will miss Beverly dearly, we’ll always remember her as a loving and independent woman who brought happiness to everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tyler Jackson, brother, Darrell Risley, and sister, Martha Faye Bennett.

She is survived by:
Son – Timothy (Cindy) Jackson
Grandchildren – Audrey (Geoff) Wright, Tyler Jackson, and Drew (Nicole) Jackson
Great Grandchildren – Asa Wright and Abel Wright
Numerous beloved nieces and nephews
