Betty Scott, age 93, of Lebanon TN, passed away on July 11, 2026. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Jim Norton, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: Ronnie Sowell, Jonathan Sowell, Jason Reeder, Josh Patton, Jeff Scott, and Ricky Scott Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
Betty was a devoted wife of 50 years, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a long-time member of Westland Methodist Church.
Betty is survived by her children: Carol Reeder, Ricky (Connie) Scott, Steve (Marissa) Scott, and Becky Scott Working; grandchildren: Jason (Jessica) Reeder, Shelly (Joshua) Patton, Ricky Scott Jr., Jeff (Christina “Dee”) Scott, Molly (Kenan) Solomon, Stephanie (Kimber) Working, Ashley (Russell) Smith and Leslee (Ray) Turner; great-grandchildren: Emma Grace, Easton and Elam Reeder, Alayna, Stella, and Isaac Scott, Scotty Solomon, Trent, Caleb, and Connor Davidson; step-grandchildren Clara and Simon Smith, brother: Madison Sowell; and sister-in-law: Ann Scott. She is preceded in death by husband Rex Scott, son-in-law Tommy Reeder, parents Jessie and James Sowell, siblings Anne Grace Aikers, Thomas Sowell, David Sowell, sister-in-law Frances Sowell, and brother-in-law Jackie Scott.
