Betty Grace Wright Ligon “Betsy”- age 90 passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2025 at Quality Health & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Buford Wright & Grace Partlow Wright; and her husband, Huffman Ligon.
Betty Grace was survived by many loving family members & special lifelong friend, Clydene Lohman.
Mrs. Ligon was a 1952 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a member of the Methodist faith. She was employed as an Executive Secretary with Genesco for 40+ years. Betty Grace & her husband Huffman enjoyed many years together traveling to Panama City Beach, dining out at their favorite restaurants, and attending Tennessee Volunteer Football and many local football & basketball games.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Barton’s Creek Cemetery.
