Mrs. Betty Charline “Sherry” Perkins passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, she was 72 years old.
Betty Charline “Sherry” Perkins was born in Detroit MI to Wilma Agee Porter and Charles Porter, Sr. She worked as an RN. She enjoyed shopping, fishing, sewing, traveling, and gambling.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband James Perkins; children: Cassie (Dan) Bruner, James Dwayne Perkins, Mandy (Charlie) Cripps; grandchildren: Chelsea Donia (Jeremy) Davis, Robert Redmon, Jeffrey Redmon, Dylan Clark, Charica Perkins, Brice (Sierra) Cripps, Cody (Kelsey) Cripps, Tabitha Page (Mitch) Kuelker, and John Travis (Kristina) Bruner; great-grandchildren: Lillianna Kuelker, Levi Bruner, Azias Case Perkins, Lincoln Cripps, and Brantley Cripps; siblings Wilma Nell (David) Palmer and Vertner Porter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents Wilma and Charles Porter, brother Charles Porter Jr., and sister Martha Susan Mitchell.

I worked many years in the operating room with Betty. She had a good since of humor! Betty was very kind and I always enjoyed our conversations. I am very sad that she has passed. My condolences to her family whom she dearly loved.
