Betty Chaffin, age 88, of Lebanon, passed away on January 6, 2026. The funeral service, conducted by Adam Noles, is on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Parlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon, TN, and will be followed by interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers include Bill Bryson, Cliff Carey, Ben Coles, Greg Coles, Wayne Flatt, Samuel Hagan, Daniel Johnson, Walter Naylor, and Brady Stovall. Honorary pallbearers include Pat Agee, Judy Bentley, Joan Bryson, Janet Carey, Gloria Dixon, Joyce Fox, Sandy and Terry Hubbard, Jeff Hallums, John and Fay Kieffer, Cinda Naylor, Ken and Barbara Stewart, and Bob Stout.
The family will be accepting friends at Partlow Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 8, from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.
Betty Fay Ray Chaffin was born on January 1, 1938 in Nashville, TN. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Darda Ray, sisters, Frances (Homer) Harley and Joyce (Joe) Lee. She retired from Toshiba in Lebanon. She was a member of the Maple Hill Church of Christ for over 60 years.
Mrs. Chaffin is survived by sons, Jeffrey Ray Chaffin and John Davis (Kristi) Chaffin, granddaughters, Hayley (Daniel) Johnson and Callie (Samuel) Hagan, sisters-in-law, Joyce (James) Fleming, Annette (Doug) Simms, and Janette (David) Honeycutt.
