Betty Ann Fontechia, age 82, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024 after a short illness.
She was an active member of her community playing Bunco and traveling with dear friends, exercising with the Water Bug, and volunteering her time for Cancer Research.
Betty was married to the love of her life, Nick, from May 2014 until his death in January 2021. During that time, they enjoyed competing in bowling leagues, cycling, traveling with friends and going out for lunch.
Betty is survived by her son Steven (Tracey) and grandchildren Katherine, Madeline, Patrick and Brian Pekala. Additionally, Troy (Jackie), Todd (Karen) and grandchildren Adam, Luke and Taylor Fontechia as well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Loretta Thompson and sister Beverly (Bing) Crowe.
