Bethany Lee (Stafford) Algrin, 72, passed away on July 30, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Providence Church in Mt. Juliet at a later date in September.
Bethany was born on March 15, 1954, in Midland, Michigan, to Carol and Owen Stafford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Algrin. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Thompson; her brother, Jon Stafford; and her stepsiblings, Andi Vidal, Jonathan Vidal, and Robert Vidal. Bethany also leaves behind her two wonderful grandchildren, Lucy Fitchuk and Monroe Fitchuk.
Beth was a member of Dow High School’s second graduating class in 1972. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, adventurous spirit, and deep appreciation for travel and experiencing other cultures. That passion began in her early twenties when she lived in Tehran, Iran for two and a half years that shaped her lifelong curiosity for the next journey.
She had a gift for bringing people together, whether by organizing family gatherings or planning the next memorable trip. Beth was a talented visual artist creating beautiful paintings that she generously shared with family and friends. Above all, she treasured her family, her friendships, and her faith in God, which remained a constant source of strength throughout her life.
